Camp Timber-lee

For over 70 years, Camp Timber-lee has led the Midwest in providing incredible camping experiences for youth. Our 650 acre campus is the perfect setting to learn about the outdoors, create significant memories, discover meaningful relationships and grow spiritually. Our flagship program, summer camp, is packed to the brim with activities at our waterfront, ranch, zip-line, state of the art nature center, climbing tower and much more. Choose a week long Classic Camp session to have an opportunity to try it all, or a Specialty Camp to concentrate on improving your skills in areas such as horsemanship, music, zoology, photography and others. We even have a two-night three-day option for our youngest campers! All on-site camps include chapel sessions with awesome speakers and an amazing worship band. For those wanting an even larger dose of adrenaline rush we have Timber-lee Adventure trips. These camps provide an opportunity to travel off-site and try your hand at some whitewater rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, sea kayaking, exploring and sleeping under the stars. Camps are co-ed and available for students entering grade levels second through twelfth. During other seasons of the year Timber-lee offers programmed youth retreats. These are a great opportunity for youth groups to build important relationships with each other while we handle the details of the speaker, worship, activities, and food. Retreats can also be built on an individual basis to fit the needs of your church, scout troop, sports team or other group. Extend the camp experience to the classroom by bringing your school to Timber-lee for our incredible Outdoor Education program. Your group can choose from a variety of classes offered at our Science Education Center,Timber Challenge courses and Saddle Horn Ranch during a three-day, two-night stay to supplement your curriculum with hands-on activities. Check out the many other opportunities and programs offered at Timber-lee including parent/child weekends, family camping, our Leadership in Camp Ministry internship and our new Gap Year program for recent high school graduates. We maintain an extensive selection of unique outdoor opportunities for all to engage with and be sharpened for life!
